The Circus

We went to the circus yesterday and the kids had a blast. We went with Papa and Mi-Moo and Stef and Evelyn. It was about 2 1/2 hours long and they sat they sat through it just fine. Ofcourse they got stuff, Joshua got a sword that lights up and Gracie got a spin thing that lights up when you spin it. It was very crowded, I have never seen so many people at one place before. It was the first time I had been to the Sprint Center , from what I got to see it was pretty nice

A Day with the Kids

I got to hang out with the kids on Monday since the power was out at work and they let us go around 10:30. We had fun playing in the back yard and we went to Wal-Mart and looked at the halloween costumes but they got scared from all the masks and we had to leave.

Playing in the Park

Just another summer day at the park playing. My sister will take the kids to the park alot and I am so thankful that she does that because I don't get to do it as often as I would like with working and working on the house there is just never enough time. They really enjoy the park especially swinging and going down the slide.

My Graceful Gracie

I know this looks horrible and I feel so awful for her but my daughter is not graceful at all! I think I might have cursed her by naming her Gracelyn. She recieved the big bruise on her forhead from walking straight into walls more than once in a weeks time and she recieved the gash on her eye from slipping in our bathtub on July 4th morning, we have a cast-iron tub so it really hurt her. I did call the doctor and they just told me to watch her but she has been fine and is showing no signs of any kind of damage. The only thing is that she has a scar on her eye now and that will always be there.

MiMoo's 50th Birthday Party

My mother-in-law celebrated her 50th Birthday this year and we threw her a "suprise" party. It wasn't really a suprise because she found out about it as she always finds out about everything. We all had a good time and we got to see some family we don't get to see very often.

My Poor Little Guy

Joshua decided it would be fun to try and get between the foot rest and the couch and he got stuck. As you can tell from the pictures he wasn't happy about it. Don't worry he wasn't harmed in anyway, he got over it quickly.

Daddy Thinks He's In Charge

The shirt says it all! We are in sooo much trouble with this one!

Brooklyn, James, Gracie & Joshua

We spent the 4th of July at my parents in the morning and afternoon then headed up for the evening to Jason's parents to watch and shoot off fireworks. The kids had a blast playing in the pool and my grandparents came down to visit with us. We enjoyed a little bit of time at Jason' s parents then Joshua got cranky and decided he wanted to go home. Jason did get to shoot off his bags of fireworks and we got to see Plattsburg's show which was awsome! It was a good holiday.

Playing at Nana & Papa's House

On Sunday we went over to my parent's house and the kids played in the sprinkler for awhile. The boys ofcourse fought over who gets to go as you can see from the picture of Joshua trying to pull James down. You can also see that Gracie wasn't to fond of the sprinkler, it was too cold for her. They all had a good time and Papa enjoyed turning the sprinkler on and off trying to get the water to shoot in the kids faces.

Deanna Rose Farmstead

We took the kids to Deanna Rose Farmstead yesterday. They really enjoyed themselves, my kids just love animals!! Joshua was more brave than I thought he would be, he actually went up to the goats and petted them and let them eat out of his hands and lick him (I know gross!). Gracie wasn't too bad either, she kind of got a little scared the first time we got really close to a goat but she warmed up to them. The Farmstead is wonderful!! There is so many animals to see then they have two different playgrounds which the kids loved. You can go into their barn and see the cows and even milk a pretend cow which Joshua just loved to do. They also have pony rides which Joshua did and loved, he also got to feed baby goats milk from a bottle. They also had fishing but we didn't do that. We got there first thing in the morning and I'm glad we did because around 11 or so it started getting packed but we were about finished and didn't have to deal with the crowds thank goodness. Joshua keeps talking about seeing and feeding the animals we are going to have to take them back sometime. Needless to say they were worn out and passed out in the car on the way home.
