It's a GIRL!!

We had our sonogram today and found out that we are having a little girl this time around! We are so excited now we have one of each and I think we are going to be done. We plan on getting a 3-D sonogram done in April and I will post those then. I can't wait to see her little face!!

1st Birthday!!

My baby has turned ONE!! I can't believe it was one year ago today that I was in the hospital, this past year has gone by so fast and so much has happened. Besides watching my little boy grow, I started a new job, I became pregnant with our second baby (which we will find out if it's a boy or girl on the 31st!), Jason started his student teaching and will be graduating in May, we moved out of our apartment and into a town house and so many more changes are to come.

Our day started out with just me and Joshua hanging out, Jason had morning class. We had pizza for lunch and Jason got home then we set out for an afternoon of celebration. We took Joshua for his first haircut at Shear Madness. They put him in a little airplane chair and he was very good he didn't cry or move at all. They took a before and after picture, saved a clip of his hair and put it with a certificate. We then went to Portrait Innovations and had his birthday pictures taken and our first professional family picture taken. They all turned out so good I wish I could post all the pictures but there are way to many. We then took Joshua to Wendy's for a afternoon snack and then went home to wait for Aunt Stef to bring by his birthday gift since she didn't make it to the party. We celebrated at home with Aunt Kori, Uncle James, Brooklyn and Little James with dinner and cake. It was a great day.

1st Time playing in the Snow/Ice

So we had an Ice/Snow Storm come through on the weekend of Joshua's 1st birthday party, but we had some fun the next day out in the backyard going sledding down our hill. Joshua seemed to enjoy it and didn't want to come in but he has a slight cold and we didn't want him getting really sick. As you can see from one of the pics above he wasn't that happy about being back in.

Joshua's 1st Birthday Party

Joshua had his first birthday party today and it went okay. Not many people came because of the stupid Ice Storm that came through. I was quite upset about it plus I was frustrated with making his cake nothing was going right. I am just blaming it on hormones with this pregnancy, I swear I must be having a girl with how emotional I am. Joshua had a great time, he enjoyed his cake and loved opening all his gifts. His uncle Josh gave us a card with a note and some money for a college fund and again I blame the hormones but it soo made me cry with what he wrote about us. We absolutely love you Josh!! We had a spider-man theme and we got him spider-man bedding for his big boy bed since his sibling will be here in a couple of months we need the crib! He seemed to like everything he got.
